Corinne Bailey Rae was a double winner at the awards, whose name is an acronym for "music of black origin," picking up the U.K. newcomer and U.K. female awards.
Icelandic darlings Sigur Rós recently announced the dates for their fall North American tour. This tour is more extensive than last spring's sad six-show parade, and the venues are somewhat larger. The dates immediately follow a September tour of the British Isles.
